The Reckless Lady (First National, 1926). Very Fine- on Linen. One Sheet (27.25" X 41").
The Reckless Lady (presumed lost) is a 1926 American silent gambling addiction melodrama directed by Howard Higgin and starring Belle Bennett, Lois Moran, James Kirkwood, and Lowell Sherman. Set amidst French resorts and featuring gambling casinos and an automobile race, a woman develops a mania for gambling, much to the dismay of her husband and daughter, and the poster has a great gambling artwork image of a distraught Bennett losing all her money (and gambling chips) at a card game. This is offered for the first time by Heritage. Restoration included touchup to folds, pinpoint crossfold and fold separation, tiny chips to top left border. Borders and bottom horizontal fold were airbrushed.
