Released in 1968 and directed by Roger Vadim, Barbarella is one of the premiere cult classics, blending high camp, Pop Art aesthetics, and sci-fi satire. Starring Jane Fonda as the fearless, free-spirited interstellar agent on a mission to find the missing scientist Durand-Durand, the character quickly became an iconic symbol of the 1960s sexual revolution. Professional restoration throughout has employed touchup and a few areas of replacement to address edge and fold wear, creases, pinholes, misfolds, a few tears, ink stain bleedthrough, and moderate chips.
