The Mask of Fu Manchu (MGM, 1932). Very Fine+. Lobby Card (11" X 14").
The Mask of Fu Manchu is a pre-Code adventure film starring Boris Karloff as the sinister Dr. Fu Manchu and Myrna Loy as his equally ruthless daughter. The plot follows a group of British archaeologists racing against Fu Manchu to recover the sword and mask of Genghis Khan, which he plans to use to dominate the world. Known for its exoticized depictions and controversial racial stereotypes, the film remains a striking example of early Hollywood's pulp adventure genre, elevated by Karloff's chilling performance and Loy's seductive villainy. This exceptionally rare scene card, a first-time offer for Heritage, features Loy with one of her male conquests in a very seductive moment. Card displays two small neat tack holes in background above Loy's hair, a trace of very faint foxing distributed around the margins, and a 2" diagonal crease at lower right corner. Otherwise fresh with bright colors, completely unrestored.
