Winning Oscars for Art Direction and Cinematography, this British drama directed by Michael Powell and Emeric Pressburger stars Deborah Kerr as a nun who must deal with temptations while at a convent in the Himalayas. This fascinating Polish poster features artwork by Henryk Tomaszewski. Originally released in 1948 in Poland, this is the 1957 reissue with the same artwork. The logo above the "D" in Deborah in the original is circular. The R-1957 has the skewered rectangle, with CWF letters inside. Also, the colors in the original are always much darker. Minor signs of wear include creases in the right border, a sliver of loose paper along the left border, and edge and crossfold tears with tape on the verso. Folded, Fine/Very Fine.
