Perhaps the best performance of the dichotomous Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde to date, Fredric March earned a well-deserved Best Actor Oscar for his work in Paramount's 1931 adaptation of the revered Robert Louis Stevenson tale. This specific lobby card, sold only a mere three times before in Heritage's history, shows March pleading at the desk of his trusted colleague, Dr. Lanyon (Holmes Herbert), to help him overcome the horrific Hyde side of himself. Beautifully restored, the lobby card shows only the minimal wear of a few minor scuffs, a small tear along the right border, and tiny border chips now. Restoration has addressed small border tears, chips, creases, and minute scuffs by airbrushing the borders of the card and applying touchup to the shadow and half of the face of March in the border art as well as to the back of his head and jacket within the interior image. Additionally, the verso of the lobby card has been airbrushed.
