Based on Jaqueline Susann's best-selling novel about fame, sex, addition, and obsession, this controversial film stars Sharon Tate, Patty Duke, and Barbara Parkins, three young women who come to Hollywood with stars in their eyes before navigating through the harsh truth about life in Tinseltown. Prophetically, Tate's character in the feature dies young and beautiful, albeit under different circumstances after enduring hardships and embarrassments in her life leading her to unalive herself. After taking a bottle of "dolls," she drifts off into death, her face gorgeously lit and preserved for eternity. Equally beautiful is this original artwork created for the Belgian release of the film by poster legend Raymond "Ray" Elseviers. Included is a clean example of the actual Belgian poster. Both in superb condition, the only wear visible is to the edges of the art board for the original artwork.
