Special effects genius George Pal directs this thoughtful version of H.G. Wells' classic science fiction novel. Though adapted for the screen several times, this picture, starring Rod Taylor, Yvette Mimieux, and Alan Young, remains the most popular. With a fantastic image of Taylor and Mimieux by Italian artist Silvano "Nano" Campeggi, this first time offer from Heritage has edge and fold wear, significant fold separations, pinholes, and light creases. There are small tears and mild chipping in the borders, as well as some unobtrusive foxing at the top. It also shows moderate toning with a few tax stamps at the bottom right of the image. The fold separations have been braced with pieces of archival tape on the verso. This is a very scarce poster and rarely ever comes to auction! Folded, Fine+.
