Ossessione (ICI, 1943). Italian - Foglio (19.5" X 27.5").
Luchino Visconti made his debut as a director with this film noir based very loosely on James Cain's The Postman Always Rings Twice. The film was made during World War II and was almost immediately banned by Mussolini, who tried to have all existing prints destroyed. Luckily, Visconti kept a print for himself, and it was the only way the film was saved. The poster has a slight fold separation on the right of the horizontal fold, some foxing spots, and some slight rounding to the corners. Otherwise, it is in quite presentable condition. Very Fine.
