Drums (United Artists, 1938). Half Sheet (22" X 28").
A Technicolor production directed by Zoltan Korda set in the India at the time of the British Empire, The Drum (retitled Drums in the U.S.) features Sabu as Prince Azim, the only Indian loyal to the Brits. All the other Indians (including Raymond Massey) are portrayed as untrustworthy, plotting to overthrow their British masters. Sabu attempts to warn the British of the impending revolt by tapping out messages on the Drum of the title. There are pinholes with rust stains and smudges on the borders, fold wear with tape stains on right border on front and on the verso, and a surface scratch beside Massey's face. Folded, Fine+.
