The Ipcress File (Universal, 1965). Poster (30" X 40").
This was the first installment of the series of espionage movies starring Michael Caine as Harry Palmer, the thinking man's James Bond. Based on the novels by Len Deighton, the movie was, ironically, produced by Harry Saltzman and Albert Broccoli. This "Ray-Ban" style poster, done in the 30" X 40" format, is far more rare than the similar one sheet, as far fewer were produced. The poster has been paper backed to flatten wrinkling in the upper portion of the poster where some touch-up has been applied to the lettering in the orange fields. Very Fine- on Paper.
