John Landis' frat-house film ushered in a wave of R-rated raunchy comedies aimed exclusively at teenagers and college kids. Inspired by the antics at Dartmouth in the early 1960s, writer Harold Ramis used the film's success to launch a brilliant career in film -- the most successful of the movie's alumni. After scripting classic comedies like Caddyshack and Ghostbusters, Ramis moved on to direct Vacation and the beloved Groundhog Day. Saturday Night Live alum John Belushi made his big screen debut in this film, cementing his comedic genius. Only light corner bends can be detected on this one sheet with a great shot of the boys of Delta Tau Chi. We have rarely offered this scarce advance before. Very Fine+.
