Description

Go West (MGM, 1925). Window Card (14" X 22").
Adhering to Horace Greeley's advice to "Go West, young man," Buster Keaton lands on a cattle ranch and delivers one of his best comedic performances. The love interest is Brown Eyes the cow, who Keaton follows to Los Angeles to liberate (along with a few thousand other cattle) from the stockyards. Keaton does his best to fit the part of cowpoke astride a bucking bull on this stone litho window card. There is a dust shadow in the left border, a small chip in the top left corner, a light vertical fold, a tear in the top border and at the bottom right with tape on the verso, and tape along the top border on the verso. Finding paper for this film in any format is challenging, making this window card an excellent choice for collectors. Folded, Fine/Very Fine.
