The Empire Strikes Back (20th Century Fox, 1980). Australian One Sheet (26.75" X 39.75").
"The Star Wars saga continues" with this incredible Australian one sheet from The Empire Strikes Back. Featuring artwork by Noriyoshi Ohrai, the poster shows Luke, Chewbacca, R2-D2, and C-3PO ready for action, as Han leans in for a kiss from Leia in front of the Millennium Falcon. Darth Vader looms menacingly overhead in the stars above. Also of note is the inclusion of Lando Calrissian, who does not appear on the style A American one sheet. The poster is inscribed, "For John, May the force be with you. Billy Dee Williams. Lando. 4/7/2001." The piece has light edge wear along the top border, and light creasing in the black background. From the collection of the late John L. Williams, noted Star Wars collector. Rolled, Very Fine+.
