Across to Singapore (MGM, 1928). One Sheet (27.5" X 40.75").
Based on the novel All the Brothers Were Valiant, this is the second of three film adaptations, and stars Joan Crawford and Ramon Novarro. A love triangle unfolds when Crawford must decide between Ernest Torrence, the man she has unwillingly become engaged to, and Novarro, who happens to be his brother. Large format paper for this film is hard to find, and this stone litho example displays extremely well after restoration. Touchup has been applied to correct two pinholes in the right border, a chip of lost paper in Crawford's shoulder and a hole in the small credits below the title, fold wear with tears and fold separation, and two minuscule chips in the left border. We have never sold this beautiful stone litho poster before! Fine+ on Linen.
