20th Anniversary Paris Photo and Amateur Cinema Salon Poster (1949). Poster (39" X 58.75").
A graphic design standout, this poster marks the 20th anniversary of the Paris Photo and Amateur Cinema Exhibition in April of 1949. Antiquity meets modernity in beautiful fashion, with artist ROB placing a camera lens in the eye of a Greek statue. Minimal signs of handling have been touched up and include: pinholes in the corners and one in the image, a small hole beside the title, and a tear in the right border into the background. Very few of these posters have been seen at auction, making this unique piece an excellent collecting opportunity. Very Fine on Linen.
