The Maltese Falcon (Warner Brothers, 1941). Mini Window Card (8" X 14").
The lifespan of one of the more unique poster sizes in collecting was a relatively short one. The heyday of the "midget window card" was basically from 1933 to late 1944. They were destined for smaller shops without much window space, and restaurant cigar cases. Many collectors prize them for their "portability," and the fact that they are from the Golden Age of Hollywood. Here's one of the rarest, for one of Humphrey Bogart's best. There is a pinhole in the bottom border, a small tear in the imprint area, a small chip in the bottom left corner, and a top left corner bend. This copy is very desirable in that it has no local theatre printing in the imprint area. Fine/Very Fine.
