Hondo & Other Lots (Warner Bros., 1953). Overall: Fine+. Lobby Cards (6) (11" X 14") & Title Lobby Cards (2) (11" X 14"). Western.
Starring John Wayne, Geraldine Page, Ward Bond, Michael Pate, James Arness, Rodolfo Acosta, Leo Gordon, Paul Fix, Tom Irish, Lee Aaker, and Rayford Barnes. Directed by John Farrow. In addition to the lobby card for Hondo, included in this lot are lobby cards for Three Godfathers (MGM, 1949), The Shepherd of the Hills (Paramount, 1941), In Old Oklahoma (Republic, 1943), and Flame of the Barbary Coast (Republic, 1945), as well as title lobby cards for I Cover the War! (Realart, R-1948) and Dakota (Republic, 1945). Unrestored cards with good color and overall very presentable appearances. They may have mostly light edge and corner wear, pinholes with tears, creases and handling wear, slight smudges and scuffs, some tears and stains, a few chips, a trace amount of foxing, and a 2.5" X 6.5" section of paper loss at the upper right corner of Dakota that has been amateurly restored. There are strips of paper tape on the versos of Three Godfathers, I Cover the War!, and Dakota. The majority of the wear in this lot is in Dakota.
