Description
Famous Monsters of Filmland #43 & #67 (Central Publications, 1967/1970). Magazines (2) (Multiple Pages, 8.25" X 11"). Horror.Arguably the first horror, fantasy, and science fiction movie-related magazine of its time, Famous Monsters of Filmland with its editor Forrest J Ackerman and publisher James Warren built a rabid following of fans for the genre from 1958-1983. Featured are two issues of the magazine, the March 1967 # 43 issue (with articles about Fantastic Voyage, House of Dracula, and The Animal World), and the July 1970 #67 (with articles about witches and witchcraft, the set designs of famous horror films, and The Black Cat). Unrestored magazines with bright color and clean overall appearances. They may have general signs of use, such as slight edge and spine wear, soft creases, smudges, and some surface scuffs. Please see full-color, enlargeable image above for more details. Cover artwork by Ron Cobb and Vic Prezio, respectively. Very Fine.
