Joan Crawford - George Hurrell Photo (Metro Goldwyn Mayer, 1930). Still (11" X 14"). In the early 1930s, George Hurrell photographed every star at MGM, from Joan Crawford, Clark Gable and Greta Garbo to Wallace Beery and Marie Dressler. His work set a new standard for Hollywood portraits. It even inspired a new name for the genre - glamour photography. Offered in this lot is a beautiful original silver gelatin print done by Hurrell and stamped on the back with his credit as well as a stamp with Crawford's name and the studio. Hurrell's name is blind stamped in the lower right corner. Very Fine.
