Nightmare Alley (20th Century Fox, 1947). Lobby Card Set of 8 (11" X 14"). Tyrone Power as a carnival psychic, defrauds people out of their hard-earned money in this gritty and unusual film noir. He almost makes the big time and then gets exposed for the fraud he is. Power's acting was top notch as he descends into his own personal nightmare, eventually becoming what he fears most -- a carnival geek. The film also stars Joan Blondell, Coleen Gray and Helen Walker. The title card has a piece missing on the top right corner and there are corner chips on two others. There is edge wear and small tears on several cards with bends in the corners on several others. Fine.
