Description

The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (Bryanston, 1974). (2) Two Lobby Cards (11" X 14"). Director Tobe Hooper's legendary cult classic, "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre" was based on the real life story of Wisconsin serial killer Ed Gein. In the film version, a homicidal slaughterhouse worker goes on a chainsaw-wielding rampage, mutilating everyone in his path. When the picture was first released in 1974 it caused such a sensation that it soon became the highest grossing independent film at the box office -- a record that has yet to be surpassed. Both cards have a small tear and light creases at the bottom, but are otherwise in nice condition. The lobby cards for this horror classic are extremely rare and seldom surface. Fine.
