Alternative Movie Posters have grown their base of artists, fans, and galleries exponentially for close to two decades, expanding the poster hobby beyond mass-produced studio issued paper to these high-quality, limited-edition prints. The exclusive giclée and silkscreen offerings are part pop culture, part fine art, illustrating myriad unique reimagining's of cult, classic, and contemporary cinema created by some of the most renowned commercial and comic art illustrators of the day. Due to the rare nature and limited qualities of these prints, they come and go in flashes, most never to be printed again. Typically, they make their debuts at collaborating galleries, via private commission, or exclusive fan events such as the San Diego and New York Comic Cons. This limited run poster was released by Bottleneck Gallery in 2019, and is hand signed and numbered 103/150. The poster was created in different styles, this being the art print variant. A very lightly used, unrestored poster with fresh, saturated colors. The print only exhibits the most minimal signs of handling from shipping and storage, such as very minute edge/corner wear, and a few soft creases. Of truly special note, this print as also been signed by the lead of the film, Heather Langenkamp, within the lower left corner. Heritage Auctions believes that the autographed item in this lot is authentic, but know before bidding that no Certificate of Authenticity is provided.
