The Servant (LRO, R-1990s). Folded, Very Fine+. French Grande (45.75" X 62"). Icons.
Though not dealing with any specific LGBTQIA+ themes or topics, The Servant is based off a novella of the same name by the openly-gay writer Robin Maugham. His works often explored themes of homosexuality and same-sex desire and challenged societal taboos surrounding homosexuality, thus contributing to greater visibility and understanding of LGBTQIA+ experiences during his time. Furthermore, The Servant's lead actor, British heartthrob Dirk Bogarde, had played a persecuted gay man in the earlier film Victim (1961) and was believed to have been gay himself, though Bogarde never publicly confirmed his sexuality.

Starring Dirk Bogarde, Sarah Miles, Wendy Craig, James Fox, Catherine Lacey, Richard Vernon, Patrick Magee, Alun Owen, and Harold Pinter. Directed by Joseph Losey. An unrestored poster with bright color and a clean overall appearance.
