Description
Bonnie Scotland (MGM, 1935). Very Good/Fine on Paper. Window Card (14" X 22") Al Hirschfeld Artwork.Hal Roach directs his famous comedic duo in an apparent spoof of The Lives of Bengal Lancer with their third major feature film, Bonnie Scotland. This film would also mark the end of Laurel and Hardy's career in shorts, as both would only appear in 60-minute features going forward. Heritage offers for the first time in over six years a window card for Bonnie Scotland, featuring delightful Al Hirschfeld cartoon artwork of the comedians in uniform with June Lang. The imprint area has been replaced and airbrushed, parts of the background, the RDY in Hardy's credit, the B in the title, and Laurel and Hardy's uniforms are also airbrushed, and a few tears, chips, creases, and other surface wear in the interior, including in the title, Laurel and Hardy's credits, and the images of the duo and Lang, have been treated with regular and/or color touchup.
