Description

The Prizefighter and the Lady (MGM, 1933). Window Card (14" X 22").
Heavyweight contender Max Baer makes his screen debut in this top MGM production, given lavish treatment by director W.S. Van Dyke. While the plot centers around his romance with star Myrna Loy, the real attraction of this film is the fight scenes with greats Jack Dempsey and Primo Carnera, whom Baer would fight in reality just a year later to win the Heavy Weight Championship title. This gorgeous window card features Loy and Baer, would go on to act in twenty more films. The imprint area has been airbrushed. There is slight lifting of the paper and creasing(post-restoration).
