On the Loose (RKO, 1951). Very Fine- on Linen. Three Sheet (41" X 79.5").
This troubled teen exploitation flick starred Joan Evans (who was named after Joan Crawford, her godmother), Melvyn Douglas, Lynn Bari, and Robert Arthur, with direction from Charles Lederer and was co-produced and narrated by Ida Lupino. A Heritage first, this three sheet sells the "bad girl" angle of the film with artwork of Evans' character smoking a cigarette while dressed to the nines. The poster displays with sumptuous color, and light touchup has addressed fold wear and separations in the top panel. The top panel also has mild surface paper lifts and faint ink stamp bleedthrough.
