Marian, the Holy Terror (Selig, 1914). Fine- on Linen. One Sheet (27" X 41").
Marian (played by Florence Dye), is a quiet girl from the East who has moved to Arizona to help her uncle run a village grocery store. A cowpuncher (William Duncan), is accidently knocked out in the store and he assumes it is Marian. After another misunderstanding, she is branded a "holy terror" and all the cowboys stay clear of her. A cartoon short was released with this feature entitled Doc Yak, the Marksman and is shown on the poster. This is a first time offer from Heritage. The stone litho poster had fold wear, with chipping in the borders and interior, and extended tears. Restoration has addressed most of this. All the borders have been airbrushed. Grades on all restored items are pre-restoration grades. From the Dwight Manley Collection.
