Only Angels Have Wings (Columbia, 1939). Folded, Fine/Very Fine. One Sheet (27" X 41").
In this 1939 film, Cary Grant stars as Geoff Carter, a fearless airmail pilot stationed in a remote South American outpost, where he leads a team of aviators flying perilous missions over treacherous mountain terrain. The arrival of spirited showgirl Bonnie Lee (Jean Arthur) sparks a budding romance, but as emotions deepen and past regrets resurface, Geoff finds himself torn between his sense of duty and the pull of love. There are pinholes to the corners and borders, a 4-inch split along the top horizontal fold junction, a small split at the center and a 1-inch split with a small chip at the lower fold junction. There are minute splits at some fold ends, as well as chipping to the lower border edge, and there is an extra vertical crease.
