A romantic drama directed by Louis Feuillade, best known for his influential crime serials like Fantômas and Les Vampires. This film diverges from his earlier thrillers, offering a more tender and emotional narrative centered on two orphans, Pierrot and Pierrette, who are separated in childhood but yearn to be reunited. Louis Feuillade had a long-standing relationship with Gaumont, having directed hundreds of films for the studio starting in the early 1900's. Gaumont provided Feuillade the resources and creative freedom to develop both his crime serials and more sentimental works like Pierrot, Pierrette, which was among his final films before his death in 1925. Backed to linen, there has been touch-up to the fold lines, creases and small or minute chips at a few fold junctions. There is some ghosting of the Corso logo to the left area at top. There has been some touch-up in the borders to address small splits and short tears. Thanks to these efforts, the poster presents wonderfully.
