Description

The Girl in the Pullman (Pathé, 1927). Folded, Very Fine. One Sheet (27.25" X 41").
While Heritage previously offered a one sheet for this title in 2008, this marks the first time we have had the privilege of presenting this particular style. Marie Prevost shines as "the girl" in this delightful bedroom farce, a spirited entry in the tradition of Up in Mabel's Room and Getting Gertie's Garter. Produced by the DeMille Pictures Corporation, the film co-stars silent-era leading man Harrison Ford and features an early appearance by the ever-droll Franklin Pangborn. This striking stone litho one sheet remains remarkably vibrant despite being nearly a century old, showcasing a stunning full-body image of Marie Prevost, and is in great condition to boot. Imperfections are limited to light edge and fold wear, minor creases, small fold/crossfold separation, minute tears and a couple of slight chips along the borders, subtle image ghosting, and a few small stains and areas of light foxing along the borders. Additionally, there are a few small strips of cellophane tape on the verso at the crossfolds.
