Time has been powerless to erase the magic of this wonderful film which has delighted generations of audiences for over six decades. Judy Garland brings to life Dorothy Gale, the child in all of us, who yearns to escape to a perfect place over the rainbow. Along her way to the magical land of Oz, Dorothy encounters a host of unforgettable characters: the clever Scarecrow, the sentimental Tin Man, the Cowardly Lion, witches both good and bad, and the wonderful Wizard of Oz. In many ways, this reissue insert is considered superior to several of the film's original release posters as many showcased a more child-like illustration. This insert features amazing photographic images and scenes from the film with Judy Garland, Frank Morgan, Ray Bolger, Bert Lahr, Jack Haley and Billie Burke. Only the Wicked Witch of the West, Margaret Hamilton is missing. Professionally backed, this insert has received skillful corrections to pinholes, soft creases, and a few very minor chips in the borders in addition to airbrushing within the borders.
