Set in Buenos Aires, the story follows Robert Davis (Fred Astaire), a down-on-his-luck American dancer. He meets Maria Acuna (Rita Hayworth), the daughter of a wealthy hotelier who believes in marrying off his daughters in order of age. Maria is resistant to romance until her father sends her anonymous love notes and flowers to spark her interest, unwittingly involving Robert in the charade. As dancing, misunderstandings, and romance unfold, the two find love. It has light edge wear, a little smudging and toning. This wonderful item has been boldly signed by the two stars on the cover and comes with a LOA from Beckett.
