Tugboat Mickey (RKO, 1940). Folded, Fine+. One Sheet (27" X 41").
Mickey is the captain of a scrappy old tugboat, with Goofy and Donald Duck as his hilariously incompetent crew. They receive a distress call from a sinking ship and scramble into action - only to discover it was a false alarm sent by a parrot. Chaos ensues as they try (and fail) to get the tugboat running properly. There are small to 1-inch splits in the edges and at fold ends, a 1.5-inch split at the upper fold junction and a small split at the center. The bottom fold junction has a 2-inch split to the horizontal and a 4-inch split to the vertical fold. There is a small chip at the lower right corner, a 1-inch tear within the lower border at left, pinholes to the corners, a small tear to the 'D' of Disney, smudging, a horizontal crease to the upper border and some wear along the folds. Additionally, there is grease pencil on the verso of the third right panel that is very faintly visible to the recto. From the Larry K. Springer Collection.
