Few films have left as lasting an impact on audiences and the horror genre as George Romero's Night of the Living Dead, a groundbreaking independent production that redefined cinematic terror. Created by Romero and his Image Ten collective of filmmakers, actors, and artists, the film broke the mold as the first modern zombie movie, blending supernatural horror with pointed social commentary and an unflinching realism. Romero's choice to shoot in stark black-and-white heightened its visceral power, an aesthetic captured beautifully in the original release one sheet offered here, a striking tribute to this watershed moment in horror history. The majority of the borders have been airbrushed and touchup has been applied to the folds to address edge and fold wear, pinholes, creases, small fold/crossfold separation, a couple of minor stains including ink stain bleedthrough, and some minute chips further corrected by replacement.
