Like many of their other productions, Go West was a solid 10th comedy for the Marx Brothers, offering plenty in the way of wild action and jokes. Groucho is introduced as S. Quentin Quale, a con man westward bound to find his fortune in gold, and it isn't long until Harpo and Chico join up to make their fortune by making off with all of Quale's money. With the legendary Buster Keaton on hand to write the gags, this film is exactly the kind of zany romp you would expect from dropping the Marx Brothers into the Old West, punching hard with both a thrilling and hilarious climax. With similar artwork to the US campaign, this wonderful Italian photobusta is a first time offer from Heritage and shows most of its wear within the borders. The poster includes faint smudges, stains, pinholes backed by strips of archival tape on the verso, minor toning, and tape stain bleedthrough within the left border.
