Ub Iwerks, Walt Disney's pioneering collaborator and one of animation's foremost innovators, ventured out on his own in the mid-1930s to create a series of cartoon shorts that displayed his inventive techniques and unique comedic touch. Presented in this lot is a vibrant selection from his 1934-1935 releases, featuring lively fairy-tale adaptations that embody the experimental spirit of Depression-era animation and underscore Iwerks's enduring impact on the art form. Furthermore, these cards show only limited wear, such as corner bends, slight creases, small border tears, light toning, and mostly unobtrusive stains. Additionally, there are a handful of strips of paper, textured, and masking tape on the versos of a few of the cards.
