Godzilla (Trans World, 1956). Rolled, Very Fine. Half Sheet (22" X 28"). Style A.After rampaging across Tokyo and Japanese movie screens in 1954, Godzilla made his American debut in this epic film two years later (with scenes featuring Raymond Burr added for American audiences). He was born of nuclear radiation, as were so many Hollywood monsters of the 1950s; however, where others failed to create a legacy, Godzilla would star in dozens of sequels and remakes. Starring Akira Takarada, Fuyuki Murakami, Raymond Burr, Takashi Shimura, Momoko Kôchi, Akihiko Hirata, Frank Iwanaga, Toyoaki Suzuki, Toranosuke Ogawa, Takeo Oikawa, Kokuten Kodo, Mikel Conrad and Ren Yamamoto, Sachio Sakai and directed by Ishirô Honda. While the poster is rolled, it also has minor vertical crimping within the image area. There is also some lite crimping and little smudging in the borders.
