Two of the most coveted cards in the set, the marvelous "Forest" and "Hi-Ho" cards are from the hand of the super talented Swedish artist, Gustaf Tenggren. His early schooling and artistic influences were grounded in Scandinavian techniques, motifs and myths, which would prove useful when he landed a job with Walt Disney in 1936. Tenggren's signature work can be seen throughout Snow White, including his Arthur Rackham-esque trees featured prominently within his illustrations. These cards display very well after professional touchup to pinholes that extended into the interior, as well as airbrushing in the borders and on the versos.
