Description
Bullitt (Warner Bros., 1969). Very Fine on Linen. French Moyenne (23.6" X 31.5").Steve McQueen more than lives up to his title as "the King of Cool" in what many consider to be his signature role. In this action-packed crime-thriller, when the witness assigned to his protection is murdered, the titular Frank Bullitt, a no-nonsense San Francisco detective, must track down those responsible for the death and bring them to justice. The film set a new standard for action movies, especially with its memorable high-octane car chase sequence. McQueen was already a world class driver and did all the driving for his close-up scenes, an impressive feat as the car was hurtling at speeds of over 110 miles per hour. Heritage is pleased of offer this rare French moyenne, featuring the iconic image of McQueen seen on the regular one sheet. Backed on linen trimmed to the borders, the poster shows touchup to the folds, as well as a small stain in the left border. From the Estate of Russell Clarke Urich III.
