Laura (20th Century Fox, 1944). Fine/Very Fine on Linen. One Sheet (27" X 41").
Director Otto Preminger's classic mystery is peopled with all-time great film noir characters such as Gene Tierney as an enrapturing young ad executive, Clifton Webb as the conniving fop Waldo Lydecker, Vincent Price as shiftless gigolo Shelby Carpenter, and Dana Andrews as a veteran detective who incredibly falls in love with the victim of the murder he's investigating. Add to this mix an unforgettable theme song and one of the most surprising plot twists in motion picture history, and its no wonder that original release material for Laura has remained in such high demand. Professionally restored, this popular one sheet once showed fold wear and separation, minor chips, and a couple of tears, one of which is to the left of the center crossfold. There is airbrushing in the blue credits background and in most of the borders.
