This striking full-bleed one sheet for Kiss of Death is offered for only the second time at Heritage in almost ten years. In this twisted film noir tale directed by Henry Hathaway, a troubled man surrounded by darkness (as shown in the beautifully displayed poster) must tempt his fate, and face a crazed criminal out for revenge. The film was nominated for two Academy Awards and featured Coleen Gray and Richard Widmark in their big-screen debuts. This unusual poster has gained a popular following due to the rarity of its black and white design, making it suitable for any vintage poster collector. Before linen backing, the poster had only very light edge wear, a faint scuff or smudge near the shadow image and bottom right corner.
