Description

For a Few Dollars More (P.E.A., 1965). Italian 2 - Fogli (39" X 55") Rodolfo Gaspare Artwork.
Creating a stir in the international film community, director Sergio Leone defied the expectations of what a Spaghetti Western should be with his Dollars trilogy, creating an unforeseen revision of the stale and tired stories of the Old West that would go on to influence numerous other directors and productions across the world. Shooting Clint Eastwood from the status of a B-list television actor to Hollywood sensation, these films would solidify his image of the grizzled gun slinger and action hero and paved the way for his continuing future fame. Artist Rodolfo Gaspare captures "The Man with No Name's" likeness and persona excellently in this fantastic image, which has undergone restoration to address pinholes in the borders and outer background, creases and a few tears in the borders, a lower crossfold chip, and has applied touchup to the folds. The bottom right corner has minor separation of the poster from the masa paper. Italian posters for this title are highly sought after by collectors worldwide. This poster comes with a wonderful custom made black frame which the buyer may have shipped to them. Very Fine- on Linen.
