Barbara Stanwyck stars in this screwball comedy as the daughter of a U.S. army general (Purnell Pratt), who is anything but happy about his daughter's choice for a beau (Hardie Albright), a highly vocal Communist sympathizer. Paper for this film is scarce, and the title card and six scene cards offered here are a rare find. Stanwyck appears on all but one card, and only minor signs of handling can be detected: pinholes, a light scratch, a bottom border tear that extends slightly into the background, and corner chips. Fine+.
