Don't Bet on Love (Universal, 1933). Title Lobby Card and Lobby Cards (2) (11" X 14").
In this light drama, Ginger Rogers is Molly Gilbert, a manicurist who falls for plumber-turned-racetrack junkie Bill McCaffrey. Bill is played by none other than Lew Ayres, who Rogers would marry the following year. Molly stands by her man when his luck runs dry at the track, and helps him assimilate back into a life of dealing with leaky pipes. The title card has a light stain in the bottom border and one of the scene cards has a bottom right corner bend and smudging in the top border. Fine/Very Fine.
