Two Women (Titanus, 1960). Italian 4 - Foglio (55" X 78").
You'll find few posters that equal in the artwork the most dramatic moment within a film. This is one of those few. It vividly depicts the worst nightmare of a woman and mother, as shown in Sophia Loren's horror stricken face at the impending rape of her and her child by Moroccan soldiers in an Italian church. It is to this day so powerful an image it was used in 2005 by Italy's National Alliance for a controversial anti-immigrant campaign. The poster is indeed a lasting tribute to Loren who would win the first Best Actress Oscar ever given for a non-English-speaking role. The color is very fresh. There are minor chips in the borders, a small tear in the right border, and small pieces of clear tape on the reverse. Fine+.
