The Wedding March (Paramount, 1928). Half Sheet (22" X 28") Style B.
If you're still pronouncing it ZAZ-oo (it's Say Zoo), then you might not recognize the woman to the left of Erich Von Stroheim. Ms. Pitts was a veteran of Stroheim films, gaining great reviews from Greed, even from Stroheim, who called her "the greatest dramatic actress." A very uncommon half sheet (and the first we've offered) this over the top wedding ensemble scene is vintage Stroheim, and one of the reasons the studio plug was pulled a little over halfway through the filming of this epic silent classic. Some excellent restoration for corner bumps and edge wear with small tears in the image, bottom border pinholes, slight paper loss in the top border, and creasing. There has been touch-up along the borders. Rolled, Fine+.
