With the wild success of the blockbuster King Kong, RKO set about immediately producing a sequel. Son of Kong begins where King Kong left off, as entrepreneur Carl Denham (Robert Armstrong) and his partner Captain Englehorn (Frank Reicher) return to Skull Island and discover a lovable, 12-foot high "little" Kong. This gorgeous, very rare style A one sheet features a romantic and adventurous image of Armstrong and Helen Mack with menacing natives in background. It rarely turns up and this is a wonderfully clean example, showing only touchup to the folds. A certificate from MP Grading accompanies the poster.
