Lon Chaney Jr., in his breakout horror role as the Wolf Man, glowers over the unconscious Evelyn Ankers on this awesome and scarce title lobby card for one of Universal's greatest monster movies. After struggling for over a decade to have a cinematic career, Chaney finally hit pay dirt with this iconic role as Larry Talbot, who is bitten by a werewolf and becomes a wolf in the full moon's light. Prior to the excellent restoration, there were creases in the top right corner area, extending down just past the title, a bottom right corner chip, and small chips in the top and bottom borders. There were pinholes in the corners and a small surface abrasion in the "T" of the title. Fine+.
