Offered here is a vintage Swedish art poster promoting the book, De Nya Berättarna (translated as The New Storytellers). This two-volume collection was curated and edited by Fredrik Böök, a professor of literary studies and member of the Swedish Academy. Due to his political, moral, and literary objections to Hjalmar Söderberg, Böök excluded both Doctor Glass (1905) and The Serious Game (1912) from the compilation. Unrestored original Swedish poster art is brittle due to age, shows significant paper loss, surface scuffing, tears, chips, snipes, creasing, and unobtrusive smudging.
