Casablanca (Warner Brothers, 1942). French Poster (63" X 90"). This outstanding larger sized French poster is perhaps the best example to be found. These large posters did not survive without some fold and edge wear, and while this one is no exception, it retains it's beautiful color and has had excellent restoration. The poster has pinholes, fold separations, small tears and scratches, and a bit of ghosting, all minor. The worst flaw is a corner chip in the lower left and a small hole on the upper border. After restoration and mounting on linen, the poster displays beautifully, with fabulous images of Bogart, Bergman and Greenstreet. Fine/Very Fine on Linen.
